Grudesh is an expansive plane that encompasses a number of planes, collectively known as the Hellish Planes. Fiends, such as demon and devils, are known to originate from these planes.
In the Long Road cosmology, Grudesh, along with its sister plane Aisesh, symbolize "knots" along Hjezra, groupings of planes that encompass similar elements in their existence.
