Unbound Gods are deities that have been designated by the Ereidin High Council to be entities of terribly significant power, capable of bending the worlds to their whims. As such, the Council keeps a list of these most powerful gods, to be spread amongst the people in the hopes that they can better live their lives to evade the fury or placate the whims of these beings. The title of unbound can be granted for a multitude of reasons, but is primarily decided off of raw power, influence, and danger.
