Hobgoblins are generally the result of goblin and humanoid inbreeding, though there are numerous other origins for the tall, red goblinoids. Often more intelligent, powerful, and organized than their goblin counterparts, hobgoblins are natural leaders and warlords. In many societies across the world, hobgoblins are considered freaks or monsters, and thus are outcast, leaving many to take up the occupations of raiding and thieving.
