Agnar Shagswell is the slightly insane human commander of the Bronze Aegis in Sconosciuto, at the western base of the Dancing Peaks in Atherdale. Agnar is a bit unhinged, only listening to the first few words in any statement and quickly drawing his own conclusions about them. However, he is fiercely proud of his station and the Aegis, vowing to defend the fort with his life.
In 989 IaC, Agnar and his men began starving due to the mountain pass to the eastern Kalhastian Empire being cut off due to a haywire magical relic, which in turn halted supplies. Agnar was temporarily rescued by the Cursebusters, who cooked him and his men a corn soup and supplied them with a few days of rations.
