The Hosts are a group of massive creatures that spawned from the corpses of the Unknown when they were slain by the dragon uprising at the end of the Fearful Age. Many of the Hosts fought back against the dragons and were revered as gods by many, though most were eventually wiped out by the dragons before the Age of Gods. Those that survived hid themselves away in remote parts of the world, often serviced by small legions of devout followers.
