Lyria Hwindelwen is an elf that resides in Tevari Port Town. She is a tall, thin, elf with a kind face. She runs Advar's Tavern with her husband Advar Birchkiller. Her influence on the tavern can mostly be seen in the rooms above the bar, which are flush with elven imagery and craftsmanship.
She hails from the forest kingdom of Seris, a tributary kingdom to the kingdom of Ethrel. According to Phaelnah Ellarian, it suffers from the same afflictions that plague Ethrel.
After preparing rooms and beds, Lyria went to talk to Phaelnah Ellarian during the latter's stay at Advar's Tavern. Lyria warned Phaelnah of the increase in bandit activity in the area.
Following the destruction of Tevari Port Town, Lyria was forced onto one of the rescue ships by Advar while he stayed behind. She eventually ended up in Madrioc as a refugee. Phaelnah spoke to her briefly by the Western Docks, learning a bit of the fate of Tevari and her husband. While Phaelnah attempted to comfort her, she scared her somewhat with her coldness towards Kradva Ospen.
