Oldpit is a small settlement a bit northwest of Danzri's Folly. It contains only around ten houses or so. Many years ago it was known as Goldpit, referring to the large pit of gold that was discovered nearby. Then the gold in the pit ran dry, people left the area, leaving only a few families to defend against attacker from the Marches and the necromancer's tower.
It contains a small inn run known as the Tulip Inn run by Gradgast Silverboot, as well as a general store run by a diminutive gnome known as Harken Endilflesk. The border is kept safe by Bart the Guard, who maintains a magical borders meant to ward off necromancy.
