The Church of Fectovarano is a large church that presides over the mainstream worship over the god Fectovarano.
While most followers of Fectovarano choose to worship under the Church, there are various smaller sects, such as the Mending Palm and the Guiding Stream, that have more specific goals and modes of worship. These sects are expected to answer to the Church, in theory. Most of the sects began as separate entities and were made to join under the Church's power.
The Church often attempts to attain political clout throughout all of Hazeron. They claim this is to better spread the knowledge of their god, but any more specific goals remain generally unknown to the general public.
The Church generally condemns worship of evil or lesser deities, and often preaches of the dangers of following any god but Fectovarano. They also reject theories regarding the primordial gods (such as Erudia and Noph), and view the belief of these theories as blasphemy.
