Captain Harten was the captain of the Thurimbane in Vardev. She primarily oversaw the Bandry Keep, keeping a watchful eye over the travelers and merchants that cross into the Lurkertail. She seemed to be close friends with Goldtack.
Harten had dark brown hair, cut short, with a scar down her left cheek. She wore a fitted breastplate with cloth banners bearing the emblem of the Thurimbane hanging down the sides. She had a soldier's personality, and generally would take up the vanguard of a fight in order to protect those behind her. Out of battle, she was calm and thoughtful.
Captain Harten met the Peas in Vardev, and traveled with them for a time as they attempted to solve the mysteries of the muggings in the area. She fought alongside the party in the cave containing the slither, and against Abrax after he attacked the keep. They last saw her at the Bandry Keep watchtower, heading down to Vardev.
