Phesto was the leader of the Bankers Guild. He was a human with pale skin and bright orange hair, shortly cut. He was argumentative and passionate, but is also logical and shrewd. He butted heads with the leader of the Traders Guild, Hartegon Korefex, on economic matters. He was one of the more vocal members of the Circle of Merchants.
In Iron 951, during a private party that was called to discuss the matter of Zahast the Vilespawn, Phesto was killed after the event was ambushed by undead. Phesto's death helped fuel public anger against the dragon, and may have been a central reason Hartegon changed his mind about taking the offensive against it. Phesto was later honored by a statue set up in Madrioc in remembrance of those who fell to Zahast.
