Kurrek is a half-orc monk of the Monastery of the Mending Palm. He appears to be a well-practiced and devout monk. He was traveling with his three companions through the Nightspell Marches when they were waylaid by beasts of the dragon Zahast. One of Kurrek's fellow monks fell during their retreat.
Kurrek met the rogue monk Grognock at the Fectern Temple in Madrioc. He offered to teach Grognock more about the way of the Mending Palm, but after a few days spent in practice, he was ghosted without a word.
