The Day of Dance is a widely practiced holiday across the world. It began as a religious holiday for the god Durzick, but was appropriated by many cultures that took it more lightheartedly.
The Day of Dance is essentially a mad party where people eat, drink, and make merry. Central to the holiday is a special dance that was originally created to please the god Durzick involving two people - the thief and the liar. It is a painfully choreographed dance that is generally repeated many times into the night, becoming more and more sloppy as dancers become more tired and drunk.
Durzick is know to manifest in some way on this day, either by possessing a partier or influencing others to participate who might not. Generally uptight folks might blame Durzick for forcing them to join the festivities.
