Casterine is a religious holiday practiced by those faithful to Fectovarano. Families will meet during this time to bathe in the rivers and lakes together, washing away the dirt of the year. Afterwards, there is generally a grand feast, and usually, gift giving. It is customary for older people to gift grander gifts to the young, and for the young to present hand-made gifts to the old.
In addition, an offering of thanks should be presented to Fecto. It need not be of great value, but your heart must be satisfied with presenting the gift to your god.
Those who do not worship Fecto often take part in the festivities, either because it is fun, or because they live in a community where it would be strange not to.
