A wondrous item, requires attunement.
A smooth rock, likely made of dolomite. It is of a smaller size, and fits comfortably between the index, middle, and thumb of most hands.
Effect
The Pet Rock immediately attunes to the first creature that picks it up. Once attuned, the rock will always eventually appear on or near the attuned creature, no matter where the stone is placed. The rock displaced from the attuned creature will transport itself as soon as it is not being touched or seen. The only way to break the attunement is to break the rock.
History
The Peas encountered the stone during a puzzle in Azmok's Tower. Journey took the stone from the pedestal, and it immediately attuned to her. Leadbelly Fargus was quite jealous of Journey for taking the rock.
Journey carried the rock with her for many months, where it was constantly at her side no matter what. Eventually, interested in freeing up another spell slot, Journey had Seamus smash the stone, scattering it into pieces and removing its attunement.
