Xac'huranac

The Everbeast

Xac'huranac, also referred to as the Everbeast or the Father of the Locus, is a powerful major god. Xac'huranac's domains are greed, conquest, and dragons. Its symbol is commonly depicted as a ring of three dragons eating each other, gripping their bodies with long tendrils. Xac'huranac's influence in the mortal plane is apparently highly limited, as is mere knowledge of its existence, but it is capable of affording great power to those who manage to reach out to it. The Dracohest once sought to bring it into the Material Plane before their destruction.

Description

Appearance

Little is known about the forms Xac'huranac chooses to take, though common consensus is that they embody various aspects of dragons, who many worshipers believe descended from Xac'huranac. It has a statue in Godsreach that depicts it as a strange, almost canine creature with a dragon's head.

Personality

According to devoted followers of the Everbeast, its singular desire is to enter any plane that contains its worshipers. It appears to value strength in mind an body, and has enough generosity to reward its devout followers. Still, its true personality is alien and difficult to understand, much like other progenitor gods.

Belief and Systems

Xac'huranac is generally considered a chaotic neutral or chaotic evil god, though most that have been on the suffering end of its power would vouch for the latter. Xac'huranac's goal is deceptively simple, as it only wishes to enter any plane where a creature that knows of its existence lives. To those that think about the ramifications of this desire, this would ultimately eventually mean its desire is to be in all planes, though what exactly it hopes to accomplish by doing so remains unseen. Xac'huranac values power over all else.

Pacts

Xac'huranac rewards those who are strong in mind and body and further its goals. Those that rebel against Xac'huranac may not see their blessings from the god fade as long as they remain useful to the Everbeast in some way. Those that wish to stay in its good graces, however, should follow its signs and commands that will unbind it into the world.
