“A remnant of the bygone. Blessings of the Alltree.”
~ Anili Usaliro, Alltree Monk
A +2 magic weapon. It is a staff. It can be used as a spell focus. It requires attunement to use.
Description
An intricate staff apparently formed from a still-living branch. The staff tapers out into smaller branches at the top, each holding ghostly, ethereal leaves that sway gently, as if blown by an unseen wind. An old ivy climbs the staff, its length covered in arcane runes that glow a dim blue.
Dragastir is capable of speaking with those who come into contact with its form, projecting thoughts directly into their minds. He has a rather difficult, forceful personality, making ridiculous and unfounded demands on a whim. Regardless, he has little capability to understand if his orders are carried out, as he is only capable of conversation; he cannot see, hear, or feel any aspect of the world around him.
Effects
When attuned, while holding this staff, you gain a +2 bonus to spell attack and damage rolls, and to saving throw DCs of your spells. Additionally, melee attacks using the staff also receive a +2 modifier to attack and damage rolls.
The staff has up to 3 charges of the following properties. At dawn of each day, roll a 1d20. On a 20, the staff regains one charge.
Expand Domain. At the cost of one charge, use an action to turn the land around you in a 60 foot radius into a dense forest for 1 minute. The forest will be considered difficult terrain for only those that the caster deems.
Nature Infusion. At the cost of one charge, as an action, infuse a target with a living carapace of vines and leaves, affording them 25 temporary hit points for 10 minutes.
Ley Tunnel. Costs one charge, and must be used in close proximity to a ley-connected tree. Connecting your life force to the ley, you and 8 other creatures may travel to any other ley-connected tree in the world that you have knowledge of. You must know the name of the tree and have a rough idea of its location.
