The Oakbreak Mountains are a mountain range located between the Kalhastian Empire and Ilfayln, acting as the border of the two nations. Kalhastia has laid claims to the mountains, an act that Ilfayln has not disputed, but neither kingdom have made any attempts to either colonize or enforce law there. This has resulted in the range being a sort of lawless land, inhabited by escaping criminals, bandits, and beasts.
The range is traversed often by travelers looking to gain access to Ilfayln's ancient forest, but will almost predictably meet resistance by the forces at work in the mountain.
