The Man of Flame is a living skeleton with flaming shoulders. He has a helpful personality, but is somewhat perturbed by his peculiar condition. He was once a human man with flaming shoulders, but had his physiology altered by the power of the ley lines.
The Man of Flame is capable of freely controlling fiery bursts and has the ability to engulf himself in a massive explosion, though this tends to leave him covered in black soot. He is apparently capable of eating, having taken part in a Heroes' Feast generated by Phaelnah Ellarian.
History
In Iron 951, during an excursion through the Isles of Wrath led by Selathwin Muleyr alongside the Peas, the Man of Fire was on a boat that was hooked by a set of harpoons originating from Floril Isle, which was subsequently pulled up the cliffside of the island. Rather than jump into the ocean and face the power of the sea god Jylurm, The Man of Fire remained on the boat as it disappeared into the forest atop the cliff.
The Man of Fire apparently survived this trial and eventually ended up on Slaghead Island searching for Selathwin, though he was the only one of his group to make it out. At some point in his journey to the island he met with the living sword Televander, and the two made their way to the Temple of the Earth together. The pair united with the Peas during their return to Slaghead, finally making it to the temple.
The Man of Fire entered one of Selathwin's ley chambers to receive power from the ley lines. In the process, he apparently lived many lifetimes, and was stripped down to a skeleton with flaming shoulders instead of a man.
