“Not all who ascend seek thrones. Some live and die by the thrill of the fight. - Tempesta Bhalieomallach
Theren, once mortal, now legend. A name etched across the walls of two worlds, whispered in the deepest hollows of the Underdark and thundered through the screaming chasms of the Abyss. Alongside the fellowship now revered as the New Gods, Theren strode into oblivion and returned bearing victory, helping to reconstruct the world after the Rebirth.
When Unknown, the Chronurgist, tore open the boundaries between realms and let demons flood into being, it was Theren who met their tide. A warrior unmatched — flame-blooded, ash-breathed, clad in the fury of a thousand battles — he struck down demon lords as though they were but echoes in his path. It is said that even the Abyss learned to fear his name.
At the end of all things, when the weave of existence began to fray, Theren gave his life so that life itself might continue. In gratitude, the one known as Ayo lifted him and his companions into godhood. But divinity sat uneasily upon Theren’s shoulders. He spurned dominion and adoration, choosing instead the silence of the Shadowfell, where he became the Raven King — sentinel of twilight, blade in hand, ever-watchful.
There he remains, shaping steel and spirit in equal measure, standing between reality and the ruin that stalks beyond it. Yet when the stars begin to dim and the planes groan beneath cataclysm, he answers the call of old companions — not as a god, but as a brother-in-arms.
