Formed from the oldest merchant dynasties of New Valarim, the Consortium controls tariffs, import rights, luxury trade routes, and invests heavily in public works—when it benefits them. They brand themselves as patrons of progress, but behind velvet curtains they manipulate markets, fix prices, and buy influence in nearly every district. Their lobbying power is unmatched, and half the city’s nobles owe them favors.
Reputation: Respectable in public, feared in private.
Primary Goal: Maintain economic supremacy and shape city policy for profit.
