They are able to consume living entities, non-living materials and even other Apex Dungeons to adapt further. They are considered to be the top of the dungeon hierarchy, because they have the ability to change their interior functions, as well as 'travelling' by using a non-identified way of teleportation. It is proven, that Apex Dungeons do have a dungeon core, yet they were only found in 'young' Apex Dungeons - to conquer an 'adult' Apex Dungeon, one has to invest a lifetime. 'Ancient' Apex Dungeons seem to be very willing to cooperate with all kinds of societies to have a constant stream of food - offering treasures to successful 'conquerors'
