Bïfröstian Taiga

Geography

The Bïfröstian Taiga is truely a labyrinth of epic proportions.

The air is thicker then normal, the further you ventured into its heart, the more mist clouds your vision, and the harsher the weather becomes.

Stuck in perpetual winter, the boreal forest spans roughly 2,200 miles long, 400 miles wide, it is way more sparse with exotic flora then the Tropical Belt.

Huge clutters of snow sprouted everywhere along the woodland floor, about five foot high, and thick, reddish trunks bellowed from the tip of the small mountains of snow, as they shot, way up into the sky. tall pine trees as old as the woodlands itself danced, in the cold winds as it makes shadows from branches look like the woodlands were alive, breathing and in motion.

Some branches twisted out of the snow covered floor and interlaced with one another, and reached out, as if to strangle it's adventurers.

It was a unique mix of light see-through fog and howling winds, streaming along the woodlands. Streams of wind bounce between vegetation and echoes throughout the woodlands.

The Bïfröstian Taiga was strangely sentient, and mystical.
