The First Atheneum is a library that has been constructed by the half-elf wizard Rena Elena Weißberg, a noble lady from the household Weißberg.
The foundation of this great library are the excavated remains of a githyanki library, that have been rediscovered and refurbished for the grand population of the outpost.
Through the use of magic, the inside of the library is a lot bigger then the outside would have showcased, allowing whoever wishes to search for something specific, to have a great chance at finding and researching the topic.
If this is not the case, the area that is restricted to the public might contain the knowledge, that the seeker is seeking - but be aware, that unallowed access into these private areas might result in the emergence of Lady Weißbergs security units and mechanism - who knows what the 'The Shadow Witch' is hiding down there.
With the library, you gain the following access:
- Research Spells up to Level 3
- Research Spells up to Level 5 (Recommendation of a Noble/VIP/Higher Official)
- Research Spells up to Level 7 (Recommendation of 3 Weißbergs (closest aids also count))
- Research Spells up to Level 9 (Recommendation of Lady Weißberg)
- Learn up to two(2) tool proficiencies, that you can utilize to make your life comfortable.
- Learn the different languages of the world and utilize them
- Potential Quests/Random Encounters for the restricted areas
You need to have the appropriate spell slots, before gaining access to the research.
