"As you crest the final hill, the sprawling vista of Heimdall's Longhouse comes into view. It is a structure of breathtaking grandeur, perched proudly on a high hill that overlooks the shimmering expanse of the Shield River, or Ægisfljót. The longhouse itself is massive, an edifice of ancient oak fortified with iron and stone, exuding an aura of both timeless strength and solemnity.
From this distance, you can see the high, steeply pitched roof covered in thick, dark shingles. Carved wooden dragon heads and intricate knotwork patterns adorn the eaves, catching the sunlight and casting intricate shadows that give the impression of ancient guardians watching over the land.
The sheer size of the longhouse is awe-inspiring, resembling more a fortress than a mere hall, with towering walls and a wide, welcoming entrance that speaks of both hospitality and strength. The surrounding fields of golden wheat sway gently in the breeze, dotted with wildflowers and sacred groves. Stone paths, lined with glowing runes, snake their way up to the imposing structure, guiding you towards the entrance with an inviting yet formidable air.
The longer you look at the landscape before you, your mind wanders etherealy, the details of the longhouse grow more vivid as if you were there. The rhythmic clang of hammers from a nearby forge, distant cheers from the duels from afar blend with the sound of waves lapping against the riverbank. The riverbank near the longhouse is lined with large, smooth stones, and a sturdy wooden dock extends into the water, providing a safe mooring for your vessel. The dock is alive with activity; warriors unload supplies, and smiths transport newly forged weapons, all under the watchful eyes of Heimdall's guardians.
The grand wooden gate, reinforced with iron and adorned with carvings of heroic scenes, marks the entrance to the longhouse. As you step off the dock and make your way towards it, you pass between two massive, intricately carved wooden statues of Valkyries, their wings spread wide in a protective stance."
