THE CONFLICT
Prelude
As the Stürmkragian ventured deeper north of the The Bïfröst Woodenkrag following the mountain range for resources, eventually they made first contact with the natives, The Kuluakians. A peaceful approach was attempted by the new settlers.. to no avail, the first group of Stürmkragians were gruesomely cut down, a single warrior managed to escape and alert a nearby makeshift outpost of Stürmkrag, by the founder of The Stürmkragian Guild of Warrior-Hunters. Master hunter Magnus
Deployment
As Magnus rallied his brotherly warrior-hunter to track the attackers, he flawlessly traversed the Bïfröst Woodenkrag after the natives, he led them further east. The surviving warrior from the first confrontation hurried back to Stürmkrag after ordered to do so by Magnus the Hunter to related what transpired to King Thurgrim. After careful weighing of the circumstance, King Thurgrim issued his warriors to venture into The Bïfröst Woodenkrag and set up a line of warriors spread out from the mountain chokehold outside of Stürmkrag all the way north, to reinforce Magnus who was tracking the attackers.
Battlefield
The first warriors who tracked the native warband, led by Magnus the Hunter who knew the woods better then anyone, managed to track his so-called prey. A second battle took place, this time the Stürmkragians were determined to avenge their fallen and battled fiercely. The Kuluakians wavered, a sizeable number of their strength had perished at the hands of the Stürmkragians, as the natives retreated northwards, they were picked off one by one by the hour. Until the natives retreating forces passed the mountains north, a opening between the mountain range seemed to be where the Kuluakians resided, further north. This was later name The Tribal Settlements of Kuluak by Magnus the hunter, who was the only Stürmkragian who ever ventured the furthest into Kuluakian territory. He made a final stand before being slain. He held back the Kuluakians as he issued the rest of his warrior-hunter to retreat and relay the position of the native's settlement.
Conditions
Snow fell heavily onto The Labyrinth of the Bïfröst Woodenkrag, however King Thurgrim had inspired his warriors to radiate ruthlessness and iron will towards the Kuluakians, just as the Stürmkragian hunter had done. The natives however were on their homelands and more then comfortable with the conditions of the battle.
The Engagement
The Kuluakians, aware of the Stürmkragians arrival had slipped batches of warbands to clash with Stürmkragians, spread throughout the Bïfröst Woodenkrag. As the forces clashed with one another, a full scale war between the two settlements was becoming apparent, that is until horns began to echo throughout the labyrinth of pine trees, the Kuluakians retreated, and the Stürmkragians were left puzzled as to why this order was issued. That is until a third party entered the fray. What was later recognised as the beasts of the Bïfröst Woodenkrag, and later a new kind of conflict transpired, dubbed The Stürmkragians and the Beast of the Bïfröst Woodenkrag.
