- Judging by their answers to the party's questions, Carver and Chasing Tales know very little about the person who charged them with retrieving Zathrian's sword. However, they expressed some concern about the person and the nature of the mission; they had only accepted because of the immense payout, which would cover the cost of replacing Carver's voice box and allow the duo to retire.
Carver is a warforged pugilist and treasure hunter. His voice box has been irreparably damaged, so he relies on his traveling companion (Chasing Tales) to act as his interpreter.
