Warforged are a rare race of synthetic humanoids whose origins are unknown to most. Due to their superficial resemblance to golems and other such constructs, they were once believed to be simple instruments of war (hence their common name). Though this may have at some point been the case, existing warforged vary widely in their durability and capabilities, and may have been created to take on more domestic roles.
Warforged are the subject of much scholarly debate and research, and draw attention wherever they go. Their total estimated population remains in the double digits.
