The Republic of Gulkysten is a prosperous republic located on the southern coast of Yekare. The Republic was formed from the Durian Empire, declaring its independence several years ago, inspired by republican writings from the neighboring Guldarian Freehold. The Republic is relatively young and somewhat tumultuous, but also remarkably stable.
In the centuries since it’s founding, Gulkysten has proven to be a democratic bastion of strong and just laws. It is a common haven for dissidents and refugees and its booming economy grants it incredibly high standards of living.
