Tieflings, also called Doomtouched, are Beldkind who have some sort of “active” fiend blood. A small number of people have some degree of dormant fiend blood, and if the blood is active, they are called a tiefling. This can mean that fiend blood can take five generations to manifest, and that two humans can have an tiefling child. The birth of a tiefling is generally seen as a negative omen and tieflings face discrimination in most societies. They are highly variable, but generally are uncommonly beautiful and graceful in their movements. Some Tieflings have goat-like legs and hooves as opposed to humanoid legs. Their individual features will largely depend on their heritage. They are also generally more magically attuned than other races due to their heritage. They are also generally very tall, standing at roughly seven feet tall on average. Additionally most tieflings have horns and a tail, and some are capable of growing wings. Unlike Aasimar, Tieflings are generally more shunned in society due to their demonic heritage. Tieflings are also far rarer than Aasimar.
Tieflings generally come of age at 18 and will usually live to be 160.
