Karad-Dun is the God of Death and also the god responsible for judging the souls of the dead following their death. They rule over the Afterlives, various dimensions of afterlives. Followers of Karad-Dun are few and far between. Karad-Dun is one of the El Shaddai, and arguably the most powerful. Their influence is omnipresent, and Their touch is felt by all eventually.

Priests of Karad-Dun usually wear dark colors, most predominantly black. Many of them also raise ravens due to the religious importance of ravens to their faith.

Character

Unlike the other El Shaddai, Karad-Dun is far more “human” than the other El Shaddai and many other gods. While the El Shaddai are unknowable by nature, Karad-Dun intentionally strives to do more than simply mere out death. It is by Karad-Dun’s will that souls are preserved after death in afterlives, and it is Karad-Dun’s personal choice to soothe the dying and guide them to Their halls. They are a kind and inquisitive soul, interested in the way people operate, talking with them, and soothing them as they pass into Their halls.

Since the Worldshaping, Karad-Dun has had a love for and owned several mortal cats.
