Odion is the God of Cities and Commerce. The Church of Odion is largely occupied with the development of civilization, and its members are expected to serve in their communities and promote the growth of communities. The churches are very localist, with no centralized leadership or loyalty, and Churches of Odion function much more as local clubs than a true "church". "Serving the community" can be anything from serving in local government to being a merchant, and most "clerics of Odion" are merchants. The main thing that local churches do as an organized entity is that many cities employ followers of Odion to collect taxes, as they are bound by holy oath to honor fair trade and not skim profits. Followers of Odion frequently collaborate with followers of Woon.
Falcons are the symbol and messengers of Odion, and He frequently manifests as a humanoid with a falcon's head.
Birth
Odion was spontaneously created when Deshen, first King of Mankind, summoned K'deshti, the First City, into being.
Nemishite depiction of Odion
In the lands of the Notoshi, Kaduir, and Guldarian, Odion is typically depicted as a wisened old man with pale silver hair, purple eyes and falcon's wings, wearing flowing robes and a hood.
Odion appears in two guises, either as a falcon-headed man or as a pale-haired man with purple eyes.
