Tortles are a large, sentient turtle-like race. Unlike turtles, they are large, standing at comparable height to humans at 5 to 6 feet, stand on their hind legs, and their arms are able to grasp items. They are incredibly long lived, coming of age at 100 and typically living to see 900. Only the elves live longer than the tortles.
