The Wood Elves, sometimes called the Green Elves, are native to the deep woodlands of the world. They typically have skin that ranges from typically human skin tones to a copperish hue, sometimes with hints of green. A rare few have fully green skin. Wood Elves typically build large kingdoms within the forest the live in, living in treehouses high above the ground. In some of the thickest forests with the tallest trees, someone walking on the surface wouldn't even know of the presence of a Wood Elf tree city above them. As they live in the trees, Wood Elves traditionally outfit themselves with bows and light armaments. They are adept at crafting armor out of leaves and wood which can rival the metal and leather armors seen in the outside world. Culturally, Wood Elf realms will usually keep to themselves, typically only engaging with the wider world through trade.
