Balthezar Orrin was a Kardunashi noble and the head of House Orrin. Following the death of Beldo-Jonis V he led one of the many warring factions in the War of Many Banners. He emerged as the victor and established a new constitution which made Kardunash a republic governed by all of the nobles through the Council, with a head of state elected from the Council for life. He was elected the first Pharon of Kardunash and held the position until his death in III 1854.
