Quarta I was the first Sea Lord of the Kardunashi Sea Empire. Emboldened by her victories in conquest on Yekare and increasingly frustrated by the ineptitude of the Land Lords, Quarta returned to Kardunash and slaughtered the entirety of the Land Lord house and its line, famously killing an infant when one of her hoplites refused to. She then took sole rulership of the empire, retaining her title of Sea Lord.
