Order of the Time Sages

From their isolated temple of Tahkeeb Mahai on the peak of the great mountain Tanhoj, the tallest mountain in the world, the Order of the Time Sages is a secretive and mysterious ancient order of L'panim sages with incredibly long lives who, through daily ritual and prayer, keep order over the Taqwim and determine the reckoning of Ages. 

The Sages' work is steeped in mystery, as very few are permitted to enter their presence. It is known that the Sages' work has real world consequences for regulating the seasons and general flow of time. During the Death Walker Crisis, Tahkeeb Mahai came under attack, leading to a winter which lasted two months longer than normal, creating mass famine and leading to the deaths of millions around the world.

The Order is the oldest organization which still exists. It predates history, the Worldshaping, and even the Elohim.
