Ticemehua, also called the Ticemehua Empire, is a large empire spanning the jungles and mountains of southeastern Oboyan. The Empire is an alliance of multiple city states which were brought together by Yaoqui I. Upon the death of a monarch, the kings of the local city-states (Tlahtoani) elect a Great King (Ueytlahtoani) from amongst their own ranks, who then takes the name "Chicacoatl" as a sign of royalty.
Chicacoatl VII, current Emperor of Ticemehua
The Emperor of Ticemehua wears an elaborate crown made from bright green bird's feathers. The title Tlahtoani (king) literally translates to "One Who Dons the Feathers"
