Stonetree is the castle of House Foret. It is named for the stone tree around which it was built. Despite being made of stone, the tree still produces red cherries, which are prized for their great taste and rejuvenative properties. The legendary founder of House Foret, Finrokh Shason is said to have been gifted an enchanted pebble from Sha as a test of faith. When he followed Her command and planted the pebble like it was a tree, a stone tree grew from the pebble, around which Finrokh built his castle.
