Tovun, also called the Shattered God or the Broken God, was the only child of Tover and Sirda. She was the God of the Arcane Arts and of El-Duram. She was an ambassador from Her father to Beldkind, teaching them how to utilize the magic Her father tamed.
She rebelled against the Gods in the aftermath of the War of the Gods. She believed that She was most suited to govern Beldkind, as only She (according to Her) had provided Mankind with any true assistance, referring to Her teaching of magic to Mankind. In the process, however, She and Her moon were shattered. Tovun broke into many pieces, though eight held a fragment of Her soul and therefore attained sentience and powerlust. Her fragments scattered across the World, and eventually Her eight pieces were discovered by the Beldkind. Over each major piece, which was worshipped as a God, a city would be built and an empire founded, leading to the reign of eight empires and eight great cities.
Though She is dead, enough of Her essence remains in the heart of El-Duram to create and release fearsome beasts, which are frequently fought against by the surviving denizens of the moon.
