Procession from the Qen Dynasty, IV 1007
The Processions of the Foreigners are a genre of art scroll in Xiao art which depicts foreign emissaries visiting the Imperial City of Wu Shu. It is believed that these pieces were commissioned by the Emperors of Xiao as a means of demonstrating the Imperial power.
