Lord Bennic Blackwolf, often called the Greywolf, was the Lord of Wolf's Town and head of House Blackwolf during the Pelegonic Conquest. A dutiful, stern, loyal, and hardy man, by the time of the Conquest the old Lord Bennic had served three generations of Orthed monarchs.
His Unknown, named Stone Fur, had grey fur, leading him to be nicknamed Greywolf in his youth. As he aged, and his black hair faded to grey, the name took on a new meaning. His nickname was expressed in his personal sigil, depicting the wolf rider of House Blackwolf over a grey field.
