Morban the Terrible was a legendary king during the Third Age renowned for his cruelty. Morban is sometimes called the Dark Lord of Fire, the Fire God, and the Tree Burner. Morban infamously attempted to burn Yggdrasil.
Morban was a weak and selfish man who stumbled upon Quil-ren in the jungles of Ya'ardamat and struct a pact for immense power in exchange for service. He named himself the God-King of Ibb, ruling from his city of Ib-Manthosh.
