Yggdrasil in the Celestial Script

Yggdrasil, also called the Alltree, the Tree of Life, the World Tree, and the Siitatree is a gargantuan tree located deep in the jungles of Ya'ardamat. It is the first plant ever grown, and has existed since the birth of the world. It was created jointly by Zot and Si'ita. All plant and animal life are connected to the tree, as is Beldkind, as Beld took essence from Yggdrasil to create Beldkind. The interior of Yggdrasil is partially hollowed out and serves as a giant temple complex. Additionally, there are several platform buildings built onto the base of the tree, which also serve as temples and housing for priests. The tree is the center of worship and holiest site in the Faith of Siita and is also a major site for the Order of Zot. Adherents to the Faith of Siita try to make a pilgrimage to the tree during their lifetimes. 

Most of the priests in Yggdrasil are Qatan, but there are many Beldkind pilgrims who come to live out their days at the Alltree in service to Siita or Zot.

Siita resides within the tree, deep in its heart, though She rarely comes out and only speaks to a select few She deems worthy.
