Dragon Eggs are the eggs of Wyvern and Dragon. Dragon eggs are crystalline in nature, but without any of the brittleness or fragility of many crystals. They are nigh-indestructible, able to survive the harshest blows, conditions, and injuries with no scratches. Ironically, their strength makes them a poor material for crafts, as they are so strong as to be impossible to manipulate or shape.

The eggs are heavier than they appear. Though they are about the size of a human's head, they are nearly sixty pounds.

Dragon eggs come in many colors and are noted to have an almost otherworldly beauty to them. Sometimes, colors move in the egg, and they may appear cloudy one day and clearer the next. Dragon eggs incubate for many years, and some have been known to incubate for decades or centuries. What causes a dragon egg to hatch is a subject of great mystery and debate. Many great dragonriders had their eggs hatch shortly after they received them, while other tamed wild ones. Dragon eggs are perfectly smooth.
