The Friends of the Queen was a conspiracy of lords and knights, mostly from the Motherlands to stage a coup against River Shah Othello X and rescue his hostage-bride Coryanne Fisher. The conspirators also wish to determine the cause of the orange root illness which began to plague the Riverlands and hopefully contain it. They intend to use the ruse provided by the Planting Festival of 405 to stage their coup. Most of them have entered the tourney lists.
The conspiracy was led by Lord Corwyn Fisher.
For more information on their activities, see the Swamprot Crisis.
