The Spice Road is a major network of trade routes which passes through the Ba'hram Desert, connecting at either end with the Marble Road.
The Spice Road is dangerous owing to the harsh environs of the Dune Sea and Ba'hram Desert at large, as well as the risk of bandit raids, but to make the perilous journey is incredibly profitable.
In the Fertile Crescent, the Spice Road consists of multiple well-trod roads. However, the shifting sands of the Dune Sea make the use of roads impossible in that part of the desert, and there are no “official” routes in the Dune Sea. Instead, merchants and caravans often hire guides or bounce from town to town to restock and trade.
