The Deadstone Throne is the throne of House Orthed and is often used as a metonym for the King of the Motherlands.
Description
The Deadstone Throne is carved from what was originally the peak of the Deadmont, though the citadel surrounding it makes it impossible to discern this fact. The main stone thrust of the mountain shoots upwards into the ceiling, making the throne appear to be an inlet. The Deadstone Throne is designed to sit high enough over the throne room in Deadhill to allow the King of the Deadmont to see everyone in their hall. Several ancient carvings adorn the wall behind the throne. Above the monarch themselves is a depiction of the Mother. Her wrists are slashed and blood gushes around the throne. Within the flowing blood are depicted scenes of battle and history.
