The King of the Deadmont was the original kingly title of House Orthed before its subjugation by House Pelegon. Over the centuries, it passed between many noble houses as various dynasties claimed the Deadmont as their seat. By the time of the Pelegonic Conquest, House Orthed had only recently regained the title under Queen Jessica II Orthed.
