King of the Deadmont
Lord of Deadhill
| Preceded by | Beatrice I Bowett |
| Succeeded by | Olyvia IX Orthed |
Devyn I Bowett was the final King of the Deadmont to not be from House Orthed. Reigning in the last century of the Fourth Age, Devyn was known as a weak and foolish monarch who frequently threw lavish feasts and balls while his smallfolk struggled from famine. For this, his lords mocked him as Devyn the Dullard, and flocked to the head of the exiled House Orthed, Olyvia Orthed, as a better monarch. Olyvia's rebellion, backed by most of the lords sworn to Deadhill, affected the downfall and extinction of House Bowett, and King Devin himself was strangled on orders of the new queen.
