The God-King of Duryavar was the supreme divine ruler of the Empire of Dury. Dating back to the early years of the Third Age, the God-King was one of the most powerful rulers in Yekare up until the Empire's collapse in the fifth millennium of the Fourth Age. The God-King was seen as a reincarnation of Duros I, the first God-King, and therefore each God-King took the regnal name Duros upon ascending to the throne and identified as men for the duration of their reigns.
God-Kings of Duryavar
- Duros I, called "the Great," the first God-King, a powerful sorcerer and semi-divine being
- Duros II, born Durytha, his successor, born a woman, he identified as a man and took the name Duros II, establishing the precedent of the God-King taking the name and gender identity of Duros the Great
- Duros IX, born Daqqarta, gifted the Yohm-kar Spearblade Legacy to Queen Drusilla VIII Mannos
- Duros DCLXXII, the final God-King of Duryavar
